The Tanis von der Mosel Race is now officially online: the regatta has launched its new event website, which will serve as the central hub for all information around the new 700-nautical-mile offshore race “once around Denmark” with start and finish in Kiel. At the same time, the race has also kicked off its social media communication on Instagram and Facebook, inviting teams and the offshore community to follow the project from the very beginning.
One hub for everything: news, documents, registration, and race info
With the website launch, the Tanis von der Mosel Race brings all key information together in one place. From now on, visitors will find:
- News and updates on the regatta and its organization
- all relevant documents, including the Notice of Race and official updates
- details on course and formats
- links to registration via Manage2Sail and practical information for teams and supporters
“From year one, we wanted a clear and professional platform where everyone can find everything quickly. The website is essentially our digital race office,” says Ecki von der Mosel, initiator of the event.
Instagram & Facebook: making offshore stories visible starting now
By launching its social media channels, the Tanis von der Mosel Race is taking the next step toward an active community. Instagram and Facebook will accompany the event continuously: from the preparation phase and team updates to insights into boats, crews, training, tactics, and the many decisions that define offshore sailing.
The focus is on what makes offshore racing so compelling: navigation between the Danish islands, weather windows, watch systems, teamwork under pressure and, above all, the people who take on the challenge.
“Offshore sailing produces stories you don’t need to stage, they happen naturally. We want to make those moments and voices visible, not only during the race itself, but throughout the journey toward the start,” von der Mosel adds.
A digital stage for teams and for the community
The new channels are also designed as a platform for participating crews: teams can introduce their boats and crew members, share preparation milestones, and become part of a growing community around this new Baltic offshore format. This ties directly into the event’s broader ambition: not just to sail offshore but to tell the story of offshore as it unfolds.
Save the date: Start on June 13, 2026
The Tanis von der Mosel Race will start in Kiel on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Depending on conditions and progress, the first finishers are expected back in Kiel from June 17 – just in time for the start of Kieler Woche.
Further information and updates are available now on the official event website and on Instagram and Facebook.
